DJ Profile Biography

I am fairly new to DJing and would prefer to be known as a ‘Radio Presenter’! I have been collecting music and been on the soul scene since the late 70’s.

I started a weekly radio show on SoulPower Radio back in 2013 championing the very best in Soulful House Music. Having moved home to Pressure Radio in 2014 my House to House show features a monthly visit to South Africa, showcasing artists and their music. First Thursday of the month is a ‘South African House Affair’.

Some of my favourite artists include the likes of Dolls Combers, Ralf Gum, Joe Claussell, The Layabouts, Black Coffee, Miguel Migs & Fankie Knuckles, but over the past 3 years or so my taste in music has changed and prefer the sounds coming out of South Africa, from the likes of Echo Deep, Deep Xcape, Derrick Flair, Chymamusique, The Rhythm Sessions, Soultronixx, Ptea, Master Mello, Sakhile SK, Dindy, Sio, Jackie Queens, Buder Prince, SoulAfrica, Thee Gobbs, SculpturedMusic, Deepconsoul…to name but a few! 😮 I am simply in love with the music from South Africa!
