DJ Profile Biography

London born Ginger Tony began his journey like so many others on the “Soul Scene” – with a love of good music picked up from his Father’s record collection. Having served his apprenticeship DJing at bars and clubs in South London and discovering something called a “soul weekender”, GT moved to Essex and continued playing and promoting to a new, wider audience.

Previous residencies at The Lacy Lady and The Surgery plus exciting current events including The Southcoast Soul Jam, Summer Soultstice and The Ibiza Soul Week have given Tony the opportunity to play alongside many of his DJ heroes including Bob Masters, Gary Dennis, Chris Hill, Dr Bob Jones, Phil Levene, Norman Jay and Joey Negro.
